Ke Mei Ou Lab Becomes the First and Only Laboratory in China with Complete Accreditation for All Three Malaysia PSTN Technical Specifications – SKMM MTSFB TC T001, T002 & MCMC MTSFB TC T003

(Shenzhen, China) – Ke Mei Ou Lab Co., Ltd. has officially added two new Malaysia MCMC/MTSFB technical specifications to its ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation scope (ANAB Certificate No. AT-1532):

• SKMM MTSFB TC T002:2013 – Specification for ACLIP Facility Connection to PSTN (Advice of Charge and Calling Line Identification Provision)

• MCMC MTSFB TC T003:2019 – Private Automatic Branch Exchange (PABX) System for Connection to Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and Internet Protocol (IP) Network

With this expansion, Ke Mei Ou Lab now offers complete coverage of all three mandatory technical specifications required for Malaysia PSTN terminal equipment type approval:

1. Standard Overview – The Three Pillars of Malaysia PSTN Certification

SKMM MTSFB TC T001:2013 – PSTN Analogue Interface

This standard specifies technical requirements for terminal equipment connecting to the PSTN analogue interface, including:

• Electrical safety (overvoltage/overcurrent protection)

• Signaling compatibility (dialing, ringing, on/off-hook detection)

• Transmission performance (frequency response, return loss, crosstalk, loudness)

• Immunity and EMC (line transient immunity, conducted emissions)

SKMM MTSFB TC T002:2013 – ACLIP Facility

ACLIP covers Calling Line Identification Presentation (CLIP) and Advice of Charge (AOC). This standard applies to devices that support:

• Calling line identification display

• Call charge advice display

• Calling line identification during call waiting

Testing focuses on FSK/DTMF decoding accuracy, timing compatibility, and interoperability with Malaysia local exchanges.

MCMC MTSFB TC T003:2019 – PABX System

This standard covers both traditional PABX and IP PABX systems for enterprise applications. Key test areas include:

• PSTN trunk interfaces (FXO/FXS analog, E1/T1 digital)

• IP network interfaces (SIP/H.323, voice codecs, QoS)

• Emergency call handling (Malaysia emergency numbers: 999, 112)

• Call logging, accounting data generation, and routing policies
